French & Cuisine - general information

Join and participate in the cooking course organised especially for ESL students! Experience the local cuisine in an authentic bouchon of Lyon!

Sylvain and his team will be delighted to welcome you into their kitchen. You will visit them in a "bouchon" (typical restaurant of Lyon) « le François Villon » which is situated in the heart of the Old Town.

In groups of maximum of 10 students, you will be able to explore and cook a typical Lyonais meal. You will be guided through the process of preparing a three course meal, from the starter, the main course, and finally the dessert. Once you have finished preparing your meal, you and your group will taste your culinary creations with great French wines, which Sylvain will have chosen to suit each course.

Dressed in an apron and a kitchen cap you will shown and guided on every part of the meal which will allow you to prepare each course in your own country. The ingredients used are local specialties, but you should also be able to find them at home. What a way to surprise your friends and family!
