Our course structure is in line with the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the new standard framework recognised in Europe for the teaching of foreign languages. The table below provides an indication of the level of proficiency or prior knowledge needed for a particular recognised exam that you may expect to achieve depending on the length of your stay.
Before you enrol in a course, your language proficiency level will be evaluated so that you can be placed in a class that is suited to your needs.
The level achieved by each student depends upon his/her individual capabilities and his/her diligence.

#1 Elementaty :
#1 Elementaty
You understand and use familiar, everyday expressions, as well as expressions that are stated very simply. You can introduce yourself, introduce another person, and ask someone basic questions, such as “where do you live?” and “how old are you?” The person to whom you are talking must speak slowly and simply.
#2 Upper elementary
You understand isolated sentences and expressions that are frequently used with regard to areas with which you are familiar. You can communicate in uncomplicated, familiar situations and can describe yourself in simple terms or speak about topics related to immediate needs.
#3 Intermediate
You understand key points in standard conversations pertaining to familiar subjects. You can get by in most situations that may arise during a trip to a French-speaking country. You can deliver a simple speech about your centres of interest and discuss an experience or a project.
#4 Upper intermediate
You understand the basic point with regard to concrete or abstract topics. You communicate spontaneously and comfortably in relaxed situations with native speakers. You express
yourself clearly and in detail regarding a wide range of topics and can give and support your opinions.
#5 Advanced
You understand a wide range of topics and grasp their implicit meaning. You express yourself spontaneously and almost fluently without having to struggle too much to find the right words. You can communicate effectively and clearly in social, professional, or academic settings.
#6 Very advanced
You can effortlessly understand practically everything that you read or hear. You express yourself fluently, spontaneously, and precisely. You can communicate using a well-balanced approach even when you are discussing a complex subject.
