The course centre



The “Mercure Classic” ESL course centre is ideally situated right in the middle of the tourist resort of Leysin, with its 2 sports centres. With 16 classrooms, two restaurants and a cinema, it’s an exceptional location for a linguistic break. The pupils are accommodated in 4-star bedrooms with private bathrooms, direct telephone lines and television. Our small internet café with several computers allows students to access the internet free of charge.

The “Mercure Classic” ESL course centre give them the opportunity to stay in rooms with 2 to 3 beds, sharing with students from all over the world. The language courses, most of the meals and some of the activities take place in and around these residences. On request, and depending on availability, our students can share with a friend.

Supervision

At ESL, we want the supervision of our students to be efficient and discreet so that everybody can get the most out of their stay in complete security. Our staff take particular care to supervise all our students in accordance with their age. From the first day to the last, we are there, ready to offer the help required by each student and to provide suitable security. In the ESL residences, 24-hour physical surveillance is carried out on foot. Emergency numbers are reachable round the clock in every location.

Web access & telephones

There’s nothing like a quick e-mail for keeping in touch with your family. That’s why all our course centres are equipped so that our students can exchange e-mails with their friends and families. Even the Alpine locations are in areas with good mobile phone coverage. Furthermore, all the residential centres have phonecard telephone booths for the students’ use.

Pocket money service

Operating like a mini-bank, our pocket money service is open every day to students who wish to pay in or withdraw money.
