Ideally situated only a stone’s throw away from the small streets of the old town and the quays lining the banks of Lake Maggiore, ESL’s Ascona course centre is located in the magnificent Collegio Papio. The main building, an entirely renovated 16th century cloister, leans against the modern school complex that houses the classrooms and bedrooms. The whole structure is perfectly adapted to language study stays for teenagers, including comfortable classrooms fitted with overhead projectors and audiovisual supports, an auditorium, a computer area with free internet access, a games room offering pool and table football as well as football pitches, basketball and volleyball courts to practise your favourite sports.

Effective supervisionOur experience of language study stays for juniors naturally leads us to pay very particular care to the supervision of the participants.
Present and available from the first to the last day, our team of specially trained ESL monitors gives the required assistance and watches over everything. Adapted to the age of the participants and to the type of accommodation booked, this attentive and effective supervision manages to remain discrete. It allows for everyone to enjoy their stay in complete freedom and security.
Pocket money service, the pluses of ESLA “pocket money” service is provided in all of the residential course venues. Functioning on the principle of a bank, this service allows students to withdraw or deposit money every day if they so wish.

You can book an airport transfer organised by ESL. You are welcomed at your arrival and driven as far as the course venue.
Parents wishing to accompany their child as far as the course venue are welcome.
