French courses for adults in France and Switzerland

At ESL, your courses are specially designed to meet the specific needs of non-Frenchspeaking international participants. We know that enjoying classes is the key to learning, and we offer lessons that are both challenging and motivating so that you'll progress more rapidly.
The method used at our course centres is built around communication. To achieve this, our classes comprise a maximum of 12 students, which will allow you to take an active part in your lessons on an ongoing basis.

We have based our approach to language not on the incorporation of exercises and rote phrases that do not fit the students’ context, but rather on the pursuit of linguistic goals that are both concrete and practical. You will thus develop your own know-how and not simply accumulate knowledge that you will only be able to apply in a specific context.

In addition to the general French courses, which are described hereunder, you can book exam preparation modules, in order to prepare and pass international recognised exams.

STANDARD FRENCH COURSE

The standard course is an excellent choice for those who wish to improve their French whilst preserving their free time. The classes normally take place in the morning, which allow students to discover the region and to participate in the activities proposed by the school in the afternoon and evening, whilst putting into practice the language knowledge acquired in class.

INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSE

25 lessons per week

By choosing the intensive course, you will have the opportunity to progress quickly in the learning of French thanks to 5 additional lessons per week, focussed on oral communication. And you will conserve enough free time for numerous extracurricular activities.

SUPER INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSE

30 lessons per week
  • Levels: Elementary to advanced
  • From 1 week to 52 weeks
  • 30 lessons per week
  • Proposed throughout the year
  • Course entry every Monday

The super intensive French course of 30 lessons per week allows for fast progress. With six lessons per day, you will easily reach the objectives you have fixed for yourself. The sixth lesson of the day is directed at writing skills.

ONE-TO-ONE CLASSES
