Schedule
Wine tasting schedule
We will start where the magic happens: with a walk through the vineyards.
Beginning in the Gallo-Roman village of Taluyers, you will have an educational and enjoyable walk to the heart of the lush Lyon vineyards during which you will learn about taking care of the vine and winemaking. You will be greeted with a warm welcome from the winemaker when you arrive and you will see you his work and be introduced to his grapes…

The second highlight of the week will be a presentation and a wine tasting at a wine merchants’ in Lyon. “La cave d’à côté” is a wine cellar associated with a wine bar where you can indulge your senses! The venue is designed to look like a “winemaker’s cellar” with a cosy atmosphere. Between discoveries, stories and tasting, you can have a great time and practise your French.
Lastly, we will get together around a table of cold meats, foie gras (goose liver pâté) and cheese and taste wines to accompany these delicious dishes. When it’s time for the apéritif, the owner likes to treat his “travellers” and explain which wines go best with which dishes. This is the chance for you to wind down at the end of your ‘wine experience’ in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere…
