The standard course is an excellent choice for those who wish to improve their French whilst preserving their free time. The classes normally take place in the morning, which allow students to discover the region and to participate in the activities proposed by the school in the afternoon and evening, whilst putting into practice the language knowledge acquired in class.
The beginner courses only begin on fixed dates:

INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSE

By choosing the intensive course, you will have the opportunity to progress quickly in the learning of French thanks to 5 additional lessons per week, focussed on oral communication. And you will conserve enough free time for numerous extracurricular activities.
SUPER INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSE
30 lessons per week

The super intensive French course of 30 lessons per week allows for fast progress. With six lessons per day, you will easily reach the objectives you have fixed for yourself. The sixth lesson of the day is directed at writing skills.
ONE-TO-ONE CLASSES

In order to reach specific objectives, favour one-to-one classes adapted precisely to your needs. Intensity and duration of the classes according to your choice.
French & exam preparation courses
Our students who enrol for an intensive course have the choice between the « oral communication » or « exam preparation » options for the fifth daily lesson.
The exam preparation option, of a duration of one to 8 weeks, has been especially designed for those who wish to validated their language study stay by means of an internationally recognised exam.
TCF - Test de connaissance du français
Standard course & 5 TCF lessons
- Levels: Elementary to advanced
- Modules of 1 to 4 weeks
- 20 standard lessons plus 5 TCF lessons per week
- Exam dates: Once per month (every last Thursday)
The TCF is a barometer-type exam which situates the candidate on the European scale of levels (CEFR). It takes place once a month in our schools in Lyon and Montreux and is ideal for students who wish to obtain a recognised certificate, even during a short duration stay.
DELF - Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française
Standard course & 5 DELF lessons
- Elementary to advanced level
- 4, 6 or 8-week-modules
- Standard course plus 5 DELF preparation lessons
- Examination dates: 3 times per year
Our three modules (4, 6 or 8 weeks) prepare students to sit the DELF examination offered at the regional examination centre during the last week of the module.
Please keep in mind the enrolment deadline of 1 month before the exam!
ESL course certificate
At the end of your stay, a course certificate specifying the type of programme followed and the level reached will be presented to you.
On the other hand, you will be able to sit a barometer-type exam, the TCF or the e-TEF, proposed each week in our course centre in Montreux or on a monthly basis in Lyon (TCF), in order to receive an official and recognised certificate.
