Desde 1° de junho, nossa escola para estudantes adultos em Montreux sugere uma nova opção de hospedagem: o estúdio.

Compostos por uma sala central, uma pequena cozinha e um banheiro, esses estúdios estão à disposição de nossos estudantes para estadias a partir de uma semana. Perfeitos para aquelas pessoas que viajam sozinhas, ou para casais que desejam um mínimo de independência durante sua estadia, esse tipo de hospedagem garante conforto e tranquilidade quando você volta das suas aulas na ESL ou após ter descoberto as particularidades regionais da Riviera Suíça.

O programa ESL 50+ de primavera começou em Lyon !

Como acontece a cada ano, quando acontece a sessão de primavera do programa ESL 50+, um programa variado espera nossa clientela senior ávida por descobertas lingüísticas e culturais.

Desde segunda, 10 de maio, um encontro acontece com nossos estudantes para polir seus conhecimentos lingüísticos de francês no meio de um pequeno grupo. Isto completado por um programa cultural de escolha se desenvolvendo a cada tarde, elaborado pela nossa diretora de Lyon, Senhora Romy Saint Denis e toda sua equipe.

Os exames de FLE (Francês Língua Estrangeira) propostos pela ESL-SCHOOLS.

Dentro do contexto de seus estudos de francês, nossos estudantes tem a escolha de se preparar e de se apresentar a 3 tipos de exames reconhecidos pelo Ministério Francês de Educação Nacional.

DELF / DALF

O DELF (A1 à B2) e o DALF (C1 e C2) são os diplomas oficiais do ministério francês de Educação nacional. Existe um exame para cada um dos níveis 6 níveis do quadro. Os cursos de preparação são organizados nas escolas de Lyon e Montreux.

TCF

O TCF é um exame do tipo termômetro que situa o candidato sobre a escala européia de níveis (CECR). Ele acontece uma vez por mês nas nossas escolas de Lyon e Montreux é ideal para os estudantes que desejam obter uma certificação reconhecida, mesmo ao fim de uma estada de curta duração.

e-TEF

O e-TEF, versão eletrônica do TEF da muita célebre Câmara de Comércio e da Indústria de Paris, oferece uma grande flexibilidade e permite a todo estudante inscrito em um curso ESL de certificar de maneira oficial e confiável seu nível de francês. Nossa escola de Montreux é centro de aprovação para o e-TEF e propõem 3 sessões de exame por mês aos quais é possível de se apresentar sem preparação específica prévia.

The 13th Francophonie Summit will take place from 22nd to 24th October 2010 in Montreux !

Switzerland will host the 13th Francophonie Summit, as was decided by the Ministerial Conference of la Francophonie, whose 25th session took place in Paris on 15th and 16th December. It is in Montreux that the 70 heads of State and government of la Francophonie will meet from 22nd to 24th October 2010.

The International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF) is an institution which organises political relations and cooperation between the States sharing the use of the French language. The OIF groups together 70 States representing more than a third of the United Nations Member States.

ESL is looking forward to the holding of this prestigious summit in Montreux, which has been home to the Ecole Suisse de Langues for 13 years now.
This will be an excellent opportunity to broadcast the Swiss francophone identity internationally and to arouse desire to study French in French-speaking Switzerland.

In order to encourage students who wish to learn French as a foreign language (FLE), ESL is proposing a special offer valid in one its schools, in Montreux or in Lyon :

1 week of a standard French course (20 lessons in a group) offered for free !

Learn French as a foreign language (Français Langue Etrangère (FLE)) in Switzerland or in France whilst benefitting from advantageous enrolment conditions !

From 1st November 2009 until 31st January 2010, take advantage of our winter special offer, valid in the schools in Montreux (CH) and Lyon (F).

We are offering a reduction of 10% on all the course and accommodation fees, with the exception of transfer and enrolment fees.

From summer 2010, the ESL programme on the French Côte d’Azur will be held in a new course centre, located in the hills above Cannes, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

This campus offers an excellent infrastructure for classes, accommodation and is very well-equipped with sports facilities. Our full activity programme will assure each student an unforgettable time on the French Riviera, completed by very attractive packages of tennis or scuba diving.

The immediate access to/from Nice International Airport will guarantee an easy journey to everyone flying to this destination.

The biggest Christmas market in Switzerland !

From 26 November to 24 December 2009 in Montreux.

Located on the shores of Lake Leman, it is the most beautiful Christmas Market with its 150 artisans and merchants. Gift ideas by the thousands, chalets decorated and illuminated in the grand tradition of Christmas. Tastings of local specialities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In collaboration with the Embassy of Canada in Bern, Canada will be the guest of honour for 2009. The discovery of typical Canadian crafts, cuisine and culture awaits you in the numerous chalets on the Place du Marché. Our French and English language courses for junior students from 10 to 14 years, will be held in a new course centre in Leysin from next summer onwards.

According to the success of the enrolments sent by our worldwide partners over the last 3 years, we decided to double the capacity of this programme. Additionally, following numerous requests from our clients, we will expand the age range to younger students, from 8 to 14 years.

In order to do so, we will organise this programme in our course centre of "Le Central Residence" in Leysin, which we already use for the ESL–Leysin programme for teenagers in the autumn.

Over the next 2 weeks, one of the most famous music festivals on the planet will take place in Montreux.

The banks of Lake Geneva will play host to the stages where great musicians and bands will produce their finest notes for an enthusiastic international public.

The students of ESL-Montreux will surely enjoy this great time, as all the concerts, workshops and events organised by the Montreux Jazz Festival are located 5 minutes’ walking distance from the school.
